RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO
1986 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex, Inc.
of Olney, Texas, for work to be accomplished under the 1986 Budget Utility
Improvements Project;
WHEREAS, the City desires to change the work as depicted in the plans
and specifications to provide adequate water for an irrigation system on a
public median; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a proposed change order for this
work, and the Council has examined and considered said change order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFN0Q
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to the 1986 Budget Utility Improvements Project is
approved in the amount of $500.00, increasing the original contract price from
417,556.10 to a new contract price of $418,056.10. The City Manager is authorized
to execute the change order for the City of Wichita Falls.
