RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR REMOVAL OF SLUDGE,
INTERIOR CONCRETE AND PIPING FROM 1925 IMHOFF TANK
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for a
project to remove sludge, interior concrete, and piping from the 1925 Imhoff
Tank, which bids were to be made on a lump sum basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Opex, Inc. ,
who bid lump sum prices with a total of $228,797.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such lump sum price bid of Opex, Inc. , with a total of $228,797.00
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
for the City with said contractor for the construction of such project.
