RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR
1987 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to accomplish certain
utility improvements in a project known as the 1987 Budget Utility Improvements
Project;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the services of an engineering
firm for the design of the rehabilitation of the selected water and sewer lines
and facilities;
WHEREAS, the firm of Corlett, Probst and Boyd has performed this service
for the city in past years and is acceptable for the 1987 project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract between the City
and the engineering firm for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract between the City of Wichita Falls and the engineering firm
of Corlett, Probst and Boyd is approved at a fee not to exceed $55,000.00, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute the contract.
