RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH
BARNES MAINTENANCE SUPPLY COMPANY FOR
JANITORIAL SERVICES AT THE KEMP PUBLIC
LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for furnishing of
janitorial services at the Kemp Public Library at three service levels ; and,
WHEREAS, three companies responded with proposals, and the bid provided by
Barnes Maintenance Supply Company at the $14,000 service level provided the best
frequency of service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposal by Barnes Maintenance Supply Company to provide janitorial
services at Kemp Public Library for an annual fee of $14,000 is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with Barnes Maintenance
Supply Company, based on their proposal , for a term of 11 months, beginning
November 1 , 1986, and expiring September 30, 1987, with an option to renew by
either party for a one-year period upon like terms and conditions.
