RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT INSTALLATION OF AIR CONDITIONING
SYSTEM AT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND AUTHORIZE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Ferguson-Veresh,
Inc. of Wichita Falls to install an air conditioning system at the administration
building of the Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the work is complete and has been found acceptable by the design
engineer and the City staff;
WHEREAS, the original contract amount was $12,632.00, and the City has
previously paid an amount of $11 ,368.80; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a request for a final payment of
1 ,263.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install an air conditioning system in the administration
building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant is accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment of $1 ,263.20 to the contractor, Ferguson-Veresh
of Wichita Falls.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7TH DAY OF OCT::ER, 1986.
