RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CONSTRUCTION OF WATER AND SEWER
LINES TO SERVE RV PARK AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
A FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Jalyn
Construction, Inc. for the installation of water and sewer line extensions to
serve the RV Park;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and has been inspected by the
City staff and found acceptable;
WHEREAS, the contractor had to install more water line than was anticipated
in the plans, and the said water line was installed at the same unit price as stated
in the contract;
WHEREAS, this additional work was valued at $1 ,177.00, increasing the
contract price from $9,811 .00 to $11 ,088.00; and,
WHEREAS, no previous payments have been made to the contractor, and
the contractor has submitted a request for payment of $11 ,088.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project for water and sewer line extensions to the RV Park is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the contractor
of $11 ,088.00.
