RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE KEMP BOULEVARD
REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, wishes to improve
portions of Kemp Boulevard for the general good of the residents of Wichita
Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received, and after careful consideration it
has been determined that the Zack Burkett Company submitted the lowest
responsible bid; and,
WHEREAS, a Public Works contract may be increased up to 25% according
to State statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
This project is awarded to Zack Burkett Company in the amount of
241,906.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for
the work.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1986.
