RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE CITY' S
INSURANCE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for
bids for the City' s insurance program, and bids were received
for boiler and machinery coverage, medical clinic liability
coverage and excess workers ' compensation coverage; no bids
were received for public official liability coverage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The bid by Fred S. James Company of Texas
of $7 , 250 . 00 for boiler and machinery coverage is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2 . All bids for medical clinic liability coverage
are rejected, and the City shall self-insure this risk.
SECTION 3 . All bids for excess workers ' compensation
coverage are hereby rejected, and the staff is directed to
rebid this coverage.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day of Septembe , 1986 .
