Res 130-86 9/2/1986RESOLUTION NO. /5 .— f, RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY AS EXCESS AND DIRECTING THE LAND TO BE SOLD BY SEALED BIDS. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the inventory of real prop- erty maintained by the City when such property is no longer required for public purposes; and, WHEREAS, the Property Management Division has determined that six parcels of property acquired from delinquent tax sales meets the criteria to be considered as excess; and, WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to return these six parcels of property to private ownership. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The following parcels of real property, located in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, are declared as excess, and the City Manager is directed to advertise for sealed bids for the sale of this property: Parcel #1 A 67' x 180' tract out of Block 4U of the J. L. Powell Subdivision of the John Goodwin Survey, Abstract 83, also known as 708 Lobban Lane. Parcel #2 Two acres, more or less, out of a 26.26 acre tract out of the Northwest corner of Block 4 of the J.A. Scott Survey 12, Abstract 296, also known as 1209 Smith Street. Parcel #3 All of Lots 16 and 17, Block 1 of the J.M. Ware Addition, also known as 2510 and 2512 Harding Street. Parcel #4 All of Lots 3 and 4, Block 10, Lynwood Addition, also known as 1604 and 1606 Lilac Lane. Parcel #5 All of Lot 14, Block 1, Ed Riley Subdivision No. 1, a subdivision of Block 9 of the Sayles Subdivision out of J. A. Scott Survey 131, Abstract 303, also known as 1610 and 1614 Beatrice.
