RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DATE AND
TIME FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS' PROPOSED
FISCAL YEAR 86-87 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will adopt its annual budget on
September 16, 1986; and
WHEREAS, it is essential that the citizens of the City of Wichita Falls
be given the opportunity to address the Council on any issues and concerns
they may have regarding the budget; and
WHEREAS, in order to insure such participation, the City of Wichita Falls
must publicize the time, date and place of said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A public hearing on the proposed City of Wichita Falls' budget for fiscal
year 1986-87 shall be held on September 16, 1986, at 8:30 a.m. in the City
Council Chambers of Memorial Auditorium. Staff is hereby directed to publish
notice of such hearing in at least one newspaper of general circulation within
Wichita County.
