RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR REROOFING OF THE FAA/NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE BUILDING AT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the reroofing
of the FAA/National Weather Service Building at Municipal Airport;
and,
WHEREAS , two bids were received, and it is found that Buchanan
Construction Co . , Inc. , who bid $21 , 100 . 00 is the lowest responsible
bidder .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Such bid of Buchanan Construction Co. , Inc. in the amount
of $21 , 100 .00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized
to execute a contract with such contractor for the construction
of such improvement.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of August, 1986 .
