RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT IN THE TERMINAL
BUILDING AT MUNICIPAL AIRPORT WITH WAYNE GRAHAM AND
AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the lounge area in the restaurant space in the terminal building
at Municipal Airport has not been occupied by a concessionaire since the
restaurant closed approximately three years ago; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wayne Graham has requested a lease on this space, and has
agreed to obtain the required licenses and permits; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Graham proposes to sell beer and wine in this lounge area,
and later expand into snacks and other such items, and to pay to the City
as rental for the space eight percent (8%) of his gross receipts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such a lease agreement for a term of three (3) years with a one (1) year
option is hereby approved; it shall be prepared by the City Attorney, and
shall be executed for the City of Wichita Falls by the City Manager.
