RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH
COMMUNITY TELEPHONE COMPANY, INC. , OF
WINDTHORST, ALONG FM 172 NEAR DEER CREEK AT
LAKE ARROWHEAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute with
Community Telephone Company, Inc. of Windthorst, Texas, an
easement agreement for an underground telephone line on a 10 foot
wide strip adjoining the south right-of-way line of FM No. 172
immediately east of Deer Creek at Lake Arrowhead in Clay County.
Said 10 foot wide strip lies immediately south of the
following described line:
BEGINNING at a point in Lot 9, Block 1, Clark
Plumb Subdivision, Clay County, Texas,
being the Northwest corner of a 40 acre tract
of land conveyed to the City of Wichita Falls
by the executors of the estates of and
trustees under the wills of J. S. Bridwell
and Margaret Bridwell Bowdle dated March 21,
1979;
THENCE along the south right-of-way line of
FM No. 172 with a curve to the right with a
radius of 1,393 . 55 feet, a central angle of
17° 22 ' 28" for an arc distance of 422. 58
feet to the end of said curve;
THENCE North 89° 12 ' East 569.08 feet to an
iron rod for a corner of such 40 acre tract,
also being the Northwest corner of a 2 acre
tract;
THENCE skipping over the 2 acre tract 295.16
feet to an iron rod for the Northeast corner
of the 2 acre tract and in the South right-
of-way line of FM No. 172;
THENCE North 89° 12 ' East with the South
right-of-way line of said FM No. 172 783 . 18
feet to the Northeast corner of such 40 acre
tract.
