RESOLUTION NO.111786
RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF BELLEVUE PARK
TO HAROLD JONES PARK.
WHEREAS, during his mayoral administration,
Harold Jones was instrumental in acquiring many acres
of park land an open spaces; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his work in this area
the Park Board , a its regular meeting on April 24, 1986,
I
unanimously voted to recommend to the City Council that the
name of Bellevue Park be changed to Harold Jones Park; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby approves this rec-
ommendation from the Park Board.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
The name of Bellevue Park is hereby chang ?d to
Harold Jones Park .
