RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE SANITARY LANDFILL SOIL LINER
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and McGrath Brothers Concrete
Company entered into a contract dated May 1 , 1986, for the construction of
the Sanitary Landfill Soil Liner;
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract and the estimated
cost based on estimated quantities was $80,379.05; however, $63,916.00 has
been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $16,201 .82. The project
was accepted June 30,1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of Wichita
Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor
the amount due as set out above.
