RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO CONVERT LOW RATE
TRICKLING FILTER TO SLUDGE DRYING BEDS, AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City contracted with Onyx Construction Company of
Fort Worth, Texas, to convert a low rate trickling filter at the River Road
Wastewater Treatment Plant to sludge drying beds;
WHEREAS, the project has been completed, and the staff has inspected
the work and found it to be acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a request for final payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to
make a final payment of $20,866.00.
