RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER #3 TO CONTRACT
D, CYPRESS EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a 5MG prestressed concrete
storage tank for water, said tank in a failed condition;
WHEREAS, the City desires to determine the feasibility of repairing
the failed tank;
WHEREAS, it is therefore necessary to remove approximately 350 cubic
yards of concrete roof from the floor of the tank in order to initiate the
feasibility study; and,
WHEREAS, Cajun Contractors and Engineers, Incorporated, have quoted
a price to the City Council which is acceptable for the work, said work
constituting Change Order #3 to an existing contract with this firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order #3 to Contract D, Cypress Expansion Project, said
contract with Cajun Contractors and Engineers, Incorporated, is hereby approved
in the amount of $21,140.00, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
the change order.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 15TH DAY OF JULY, 1986.
