RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 TO CONTRACT D, CYPRESS
TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Cajun Contractors
and Engineers, Inc. for certain construction work at the Cypress Street Water
Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, it has been necessary to make some adjustments in the work to be
accomplished;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed Change Order No. 2 to the
contract;
AND WHEREAS, this additional work in the amount of $22,152.95 is deemed
by the Council to be necessary.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 to Contract D, Cypress Expansion Project, is approved in
the amount of $22,152.95, bringing the total contract cost to $3,284,767.95.
The request by the contractor, Cajun Contractors and Engineers, Inc. , for an
extension of seven days on the contract time is also approved. The City Manager
is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2.
