RESOLUTION APPOINTING RON BUFFUM AND SANDY GOFF
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WICHITA COUNTY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of Wichita Falls appointed
Gary Cook and Craig Wilson to the Board of Directors of the Wichita
County Appraisal District for terms expiring December 31 , 1987 ; and,
WHEREAS, Mr . Cook and Mr. Wilson have served exceptionally well
on this Board, but their terms on the City Council have expired,
and the City Council deems it important that current Council members
serve on such Board of Directors .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT :
SECTION 1 . Mr . Gary Cook and Mr. Craig Wilson are hereby
removed from such Board of Directors , and these two positions are
declared vacant .
SECTION 2 . Ron Buffum and Sandy Goff are hereby appointed to
the Board of Directors of the Wichita County Appraisal District for
the unexpired terms of Mr. Cook and Mr. Wilson, which expire
December 31, 1987 .
SECTION 3 . The City Council hereby extends its appreciation
to Mr. Cook and Mr. Wilson for their fine service on this Board .
