RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING FORM OF LEASE FOR CABIN SITES
AT LAKE KICKAPOO.
WHEREAS, owners of twelve (12) cabin site leases at Lake
Kickapoo failed to timely pay the rentals due October 1, 1985 , and
said leases terminated; and,
WHEREAS, ten (10) of these properties have residences located
thereon, and the owners have requested that the City Council
authorize the execution of new leases , and the City Council is
willing to authorize execution of new leases covering the ten cabin
sites on which residences are located, such leases to be on a new
updated lease form, which will expire September 30 , 1994 , the
approximate date on which all other Lake Kickapoo cabin site leases
will expire .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT :
That certain form of lease, a copy of which is attached hereto,
for cabin sites at Lake Kickapoo is hereby approved, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute leases on this form to the last
owners of the ten cabin sites, on which residences were located,
which expired for failure to timely pay the rental due October 1,
1985 . To be eligible to receive the new lease, each owner shall
pay the rental which was due October 1, 1985 .
