RESOLUTION NO.70-86
A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARINGS ON AN ANNEXATION PROCEEDING
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Public hearings shall be held on the 11th day of
June, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. before the Wichita Falls Planning and
Zoning Commission, and on the 17th day of June, 1986 before the
Wichita Falls City Council in the city council chambers in
Memorial Auditorium in Wichita Falls, Texas, at which time all
interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard
concerning the intention of the city council to institute
proceedings to annex the following described tracts of land:
A. A 7.66 acre tract of land out of Block 11, Denton
County School Land, League 2, Wichita County, Texas.
B. 48. 3 acre tract of land out of Block 12, Denton
County School Lands, League 2, Abstract 57, Wichita
County,Texas.
SECTION 2. The city clerk is directed to give public notice
of such hearings by publishing notices thereof one (1) time for
each hearing in a newspaper having general circulation in the
city and in the territory to be annexed not more than twenty ( 20)
days nor less than ten ( 10) days prior to the meeti.g
