RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH ENGINEERING
FIRM FOR 9TH STREET WATER TOWER REPAIRS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to accomplish certain
structural repairs on the 9th Street Elevated Water Tower, and to have the
tower painted;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the firm of Biggs & Mathews to
design the repairs and to inspect the painting work;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract with Biggs &
Mathews for this purpose; and,
WHEREAS, the said contract is acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the engineering firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. ,
is hereby approved in the maximum amount of $5,200.00, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute same.
