RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
PAVING OF AN ALLEY FROM VAN BUREN AVENUE TO
DENVER AVENUE AND DIRECTING STAFF TO PREPARE
PRELIMINARY CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has passed Ordinance No. 60-85
authorizing the paving of alleys throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, a petition requesting paving has been accepted from
several property owners adjacent to an alley between 8th & 9th Streets from
Van Buren Avenue to Denver Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such petition is hereby accepted, and a public hearing date is
established for 8:30 AM central daylight time on June 3, 1986.
