AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NUMBER THREE WITH WALLACE
AND RAUB RELATING TO REVISIONS TO THE
POLICE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
WHEREAS, it is essential to insure that key police operations continue
during any power failure; and
WHEREAS, certain additional changes are required in the proposed electrical
system in order to support the computer hardware which the City plans to
purchase to support the Police Department's operations ; and
WHEREAS, the exact requirements for emergency backup power and electrical
support for the proposed computer equipment were not available at the time this
project was bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute change order number three
with Wallace and Raub Construction Company in the amount of $63,587.00.
