RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY ON-PREMISE SALE OF
WINE AND BEER PURSUANT TO SECTION 5420 , (5) OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS FOR
THE 10TH ANNUAL SPRING FESTIVAL SPONSORED BY THE
NOTRE DAME SCHOOLS TO BE HELD MAY 2 , 3 , AND 4 , 1986 ,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS , Notre Dame Schools are having their 10thAnnual Spring
Festival on May 2 , 3 , and 4 , 1986 , to be held on the Notre Dame
High School parking lot and grounds , and the Schools have requested
permission to sell wine and beer at such festival ; and,
WHEREAS, Section 5420 , (5) of the Zoning Ordinance allows
temporary alcoholic beverage sales subject to City Council approval .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT :
On-Premise Sale of wine and beer is hereby authorized on May 2 ,
3 , and 4 , 1986 , for the 10th Annual Spring Festival sponsored by
the Notre Dame Schools to be held on the Notre Dame High School
parking lot and grounds, pursuant to Section 5420 (5) of the Zoning
Ordinance .
The fact that this event will be held in less than thirty (30)
days after passage of this ordinance creates an emergency; therefore
this ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall
become effective immediately upon its passage .
