RESOLUTION TO REJECT BIDS FOR THE WICHITA
FALLS WATERFALLS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls opened bids for the subject project
on Monday, March 17, 1986, at 9:00 AM:
WHEREAS, the low bid in the amount of $518,956.40 is considerably in
excess of the consulting engineer's estimate of $230,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bids be rejected and the project be re-bid.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1ST DAY OF APRIL, 1986.
