AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NUMBER TWO WITH WALLACE AND
RAUB RELATING TO REVISIONS TO THE POLICE
HEADQUARTERS BUILDING
WHEREAS, demolition of the City's jail facility has revealed that various
water and drain pipes were installed differently from the building's original
plans; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that additional work be performed in order to
construct the training room/emergency operations center in accordance with the
needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, these changed conditions could not have been reasonably foreseen
by the project architect,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute change order number two
with Wallace and Raub Construction Company in the amount of $2,470.00.
