AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
A CONTRACT WITH COMMAND DATA SYSTEMS FOR
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT A POLICE
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City has solicited and received proposals for a police management
information system; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposals received and has determined that the
proposal submitted by Command Data Systems best meets the needs of the City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate a contract with Command
Data Systems for provision of the hardware and software necessary to support a
police management information system and such other ancillary software as may be
necessary for the effective operation of the public safety system.
