AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AN AMENDMENT WITH THE BOY'S CLUB OF
WICHITA FALLS, INC. TO LEASE AN ADDI-
TIONAL TEN ACRES AT LAKE KICKAPOO
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls currently leases a tract of land at
Lake Kickapoo to the Boy's Club of Wichita Falls, Inc. ; and
WHEREAS, the Boy's Club has requested that this lease be amended to add
approximately ten acres of adjacent land; and
a no other use for this land;WHEREAS, the City currently has o land;Y
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease amendment with
the Boy's Club of Wichita Falls, Inc. , extending said lease to approximately
ten acres of adjacent land. Such lease amendment shall include a thirty (30)
day reversionary right clause and shall further stipulate that no permanent
structure be constructed on this additional ten acres due to possible future
dam repair work.
