RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH WICHITA FALLS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR RENTAL OF MEMORIAL STADIUM FOR
A CONCERT TO BE SPONSORED BY THE YOUTH
ACTIVITIES ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the Youth Activities Advisory Council desires
to co-promote a Beach Boys Concert with Mainline Productions,
Inc. ; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to lease Memorial Stadium, a Wichita
Falls Independent School District property, for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and
execute a lease agreement with the Wichita Falls Independent
School District for the rental of Memorial Stadium for a Beach
Boys Concert.
