RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE BARNETT ROAD UTILITY
RELOCATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with the Costello
Construction Company for the relocation of utilities on Barnett Road;
WHEREAS, the completed project has been inspected and found acceptable
by the city staff;
WHEREAS, additional quantities of previously approved line items were
required to complete the project, for a total increase in the contract price of
1 ,909.00, bringing the total contract to $145,405.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor $118,765.17,
leaving an amount due of $26,639.83.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Barnett Road Utility Relocation Project is accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment in the amount of $26,639.83.
