AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH WALLACE
AND RAUB CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
FOR REVISIONS TO THE POLICE
HEADQUARTERS BUILDING FOR
COMMUNICATIONS AND EMERGENCY
OPERATIONS
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for and received bids for revisions to the
Police Headquarters Building for communications and emergency operations; and
WHEREAS, the bid of Wallace and Raub Construction Company is the lowest
responsible bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the
Wallace and Raub Construction Company for revisions to the Police Headquarters
Building. This contract shall cover both the base bid and all three alternates
and shall be for an amount not to exceed $364,400. The local labor provisions
of the City of Wichita Falls are waived for that portion of this contract
relating to the installation of computer flooring.
