RESOLUTION NO. t -4(
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR OPERATION OF
CONCESSIONS IN SPUDDER PARK AND WILLIAMS PARK
FOR THE 1986 SEASON.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for
the operation of concessions in various City parks for the 1986
season; and,
WHEREAS, on Spudder Park one bid was received, that of
Josie Pope, who bid 50% of gross sales , which is a fair and
reasonable bid; and,
WHEREAS, on Williams Park, three bids were received, and the
bid of Josie Pope in the amount of 50% of gross sales was the best
and highest bid; and,
WHEREAS , no bids were received on Lake Arrowhead Parks and
Loch Lomond Park .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The bids of Josie Pope for the operation of concessions in
Spudder Park and Williams Park for the 1986 season are hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute contracts
on the standard City form with Josie Pope for such operations .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of February, 1986 .
