RESOLUTION CALLING REGULAR CITY ELECTION FOR
APRIL 5 , 1986 , AND NAMING ELECTION OFFICIALS
AND POLLING PLACES.
WHEREAS , Mayor Gary D. Cook has issued an order this date
ordering an election to be held on April 5, 1986 , for electing
the Mayor, Councilman for District 3, Councilman for District 4 ,
and Councilman for District 5 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
An election shall be held in the City on April 5 , 1986 , for
the purpose of electing such City officers . Such election shall
be held at the polling places set out in Exhibit A, attached
hereto . The persons shown on Exhibit A are hereby appointed
presiding election judges , alternate presiding judges, central
counting station judge and absentee ballot board judge . Each
presiding election judge shall appoint not less than two nor more
then four election clerks to assist in the conduct of the election.
Voters residing in the City limits of Wichita Falls within
the county precinct numbers shown on Exhibit A shall vote in the
City polling places shown in such Exhibit .
