RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FOR THE
1984-85 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex, Inc. ,
of Olney, Texas, for certain water line replacements in a project known as the
1984-85 Budget Utility Improvements Project;
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to change the location of a 8" water
line which is to be installed under the terms of said contract;
WHEREAS, the change in the routing of the water line will impose
additional costs; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined proposed Change Order No. 2 for
such costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 for the 1984-85 Budget Utility Improvements Project
is approved in the amount of $8,118.50, thereby increasing the total contract price
to $439,748.10. The City Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 2.
