RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PAVING
OF SPECIFIED ALLEYS AND DIRECTING STAFF TO PREPARE
PRELIMINARY CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATES FOR SAID
ALLEYS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has passed Ordinance No. 60-85 authorizing
the paving of alleys throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, a petition has been accepted from several property owners requesting
an alley adjacent to their property be paved, said alleys being:
1. Between Red Fox Road and Gray Fox Place, from Westcliff Drive to Roanoke Drive.
2. Between Avalon and an undeveloped property, from Ivy Lane to Sumner Terrace.
3. Between Gray Fox Place and Central Freeway, from Roanoke Drive to Westcliff
Drive.
4. Between Sumner Terrace and Parkdale Drive, from Ivy Lane to Roanoke Drive.
5. Between Parkdale Drive and New Haven, from New Haven to Roanoke Drive.
6. Between Avalon and undeveloped property, from Sumner Terrace to Central
Freeway.
7. Between Avalon and Lilac (w/exit) , from Parkdale to Ivy Lane.
8. Between New Haven and undeveloped property, from canal easement to Roanoke.
9. Between Lilac Lane and Ivy Lane, from Parkdale to Lilac Lane.
10. Between Sumner Terrace and Parkdale, from Avalon Place to Ivy Lane.
11. Between Westcliff and drainage canal, from Red Fox to Central Freeway.
12. Between New Haven Road and Parkdale (w/exit) , from New Haven Road to
Roanoke.
13. Between Glenhaven and Roanoke, from Roanoke to pipeline easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such petition is hereby accepted, and a public hearing date is established
on March 18 , 1986 , and staff is directed to prepare preliminary construction
cost estimates.
