RESOLUTION GRANTING MUNICIPAL JUDGE AUTHORITY TO
APPOINT INTERIM CERTIFIED COURT REPORTERS PENDING
APPOINTMENT OF FULL TIME REPORTER, AND PROVIDING
FOR COURT REPORTING SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The judge of the Wichita Falls Municipal Court of
Record is hereby granted authority, pursuant to Chapters 30
and 52, Texas Government Code, to appoint interim official
court reporters pending selection and appointment of a
permanent official court reporter. Said interim appointees
shall be independent contractors and shall be comp-nsated at
a rate not to exceed $125.00 per day of service.
