TO AWARD BID THROUGH THE STATE OF TEXAS
CONTRACT NUMBER 1646 TO THE IBM CORPORATION FOR THE
PURCHASE OF AN IBM PC-AT BASED COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR
PUBLIC UTILITIES STORES
WHEREAS, the State of Texas has, in an open and formal bid,
accepted bids from responsible contractors for the supply of general purpose
personal computers;
WHEREAS, under volume purchase agreement, contract number 1646, said
bid was awarded to the IBM Corporation;
WHEREAS, the IBM Corporation has extended to the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, the prices agreed to under said contract; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to purchase an IBM PC-AT
Computer, which computer with required enhancements falls under this contract
agreement.
NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
Pursuant to the terms of the State Contract Number 1646, the IBM
Corporation is awarded the contract with the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to
purchase one IBM PC-AT computer with enhancements at the prices agreed to in
that contract.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1986.
