AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
WYOMING CIRCLE
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls has recommended
the closure of a portion of Wyoming Circle; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls deems it advisable
and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the portion of Wyoming
Circle hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The portion of Wyoming Circle more specifically described as follows:
A tract of land being more commonly known as the cul-de-sac of Wyoming
Circle, said tract being more specifically described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the south right-of-way line of
Wyoming Circle and the beginning point of the cul-de-sac of Wyoming
Circle, said point bears South 67° 49' West 300.79 feet from the point
of intersection of said south right-of-way line of Wyoming Circle and
the west right-of-way line of Greenville Road, said point being the
place of beginning of this description;
THENCE along the cul-de-sac right-of-way and along a 95.493 degree curve
to the right, having a raidus of 60.00 feet, and a central angle of
234 26' 56", a total distance of 245.51 feet to a point;
THENCE South 15.98 feet to a point lying in the north right-of-way
line of Wyoming Circle;
THENCE South 38° 49' East 72.70 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 1,430 square feet or 0.033 acre of land, more or less;
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
