ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27-22 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO CHANGE THE PERMIT FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 27-22 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec . 27-22 . Fees .
The filing fee which shall accompany the application for a permit
hereunder shall be computed as follows :
(1) Sidewalks or curbs and one approach.
Ten dollars ($10. 00) plus fifteen cents (15 ) per lineal
foot of sidewalk or curb. This filing fee shall not
be required to be paid on work that is done under
contract from the City nor shall it be required on
paving work done by subdividers, when done under the
supervision of the City and in accordance with plans
and specifications which have been approved by the
Director of Public Works.
(2) Additional approaches .
Each additional approach will require a five dollar
($5 . 00) charge.
(3) Re-inspection.
If a re-inspection is required, an additional fee of
$10. 00 must be paid prior to re-inspection. "
The fact that these amounts will be due and that it is essential
for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an
emergency, therefore this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
