ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (106 .3) OF THE PLUMBING
CODE, TO ADD PARAGRAPHS (b) THROUGH (f) CONCERNING
PERMIT FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS ,
TEXAS, THAT:
Subsection (106. 3) , Schedule of Permit Fees, of Ordinance No.
2733 is hereby amended by adding paragraphs (b) through (f) to read
as follows:
" (b) Permit Fees Outside City Limits: The standard plumbing
permit fees shall be doubled outside the City limits of
the City of Wichita Falls.
(c) Sewer Connection Fees: The sewer connection fees shall
be as are from time to time prescribed by the City
Council.
(d) Sewer Tap Fees : Where no sewer wye is found within
three (3) feet of either side where shown on City
sewer map, the City sewer crew shall make a suitable
tap in the main line at no cost to plumbing contractor
or owner of property affected. If taps are requested
at locations other than shown or when no tap is shown
in City sewer map, a cost prescribed by the City Council
will be charged to the plumbing contractor or the
property owner. When it is found that more than one
house sewer is on a riser into a sewer main and it is
found that the riser is broken, the City sewer crew is
bound to help the plumbing contractor finish the job.
(e) Water Connection Fees: The water connection fees shall
be as are from time to time prescribed by the City Council .
(f) Point of Connection: Building sewers and water service
pipes shall connect to the public sewer and water main
at a point designated by the proper municipal authority. "
The fact that these amounts will be due and that it is essential
for the immediate use of the City of Wichita Falls creates an emergency,
therefore this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage.
