ORDINANCE NO. //— 17.;
ORDINANCE REFERRING TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS
AND APPEALS THE APPEAL BY THE OWNERS OF THE
HAMILTON AND OIL AND GAS BUILDINGS OF FINDINGS
OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE VIOLATIONS .
WHEREAS, the City Fire Marshal has made findings that certain
fire hazards exist in the Hamilton Building and the Oil and Gas
Building; and,
WHEREAS, T. C. White & Co. has appealed the decision of the
Fire Marshal to the City Council, as provided for in Section 2. 02
of the Fire Prevention Code; and,
WHEREAS, there is now pending before the Board of Adjustments
and Appeals a similar appeal under the Building Code, and it is
deemed advisable to refer the appeal of T. C. White & Co. to the
Board of Adjustments and Appeals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The appeal of T . C. White & Co. from the findings of the Fire
Marshal that certain fire hazards exist at the Hamilton Building
and Oil and Gas Building are hereby referred to the Board of Adjust-
ments and Appeals for a final decision.
