ORDINANCE NO. C/�4-
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-160.7(2) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS TO ADD A SUBSECTION
(C) DESIGNATING THE MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM AND THE KELL HOUSE
AS WICHITA FALLS LANDMARKS
WHEREAS, the Design Review Commission has recommended that the Memorial
Auditorium and the Kell House be designated as Wichita Falls Landmarks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 2-160.7(2) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to add a
subsection (c) to read as follows:
"(c) With regard to design review, this division shall apply to structures
located within a designated historical district and to structures
designated as Wichita Falls Landmarks by the City Council.
(i) The Memorial Auditorium located at 1300 7th Street is hereby
designated as a Wichita Falls Landmark.
(ii) The Kell House located at 900 Bluff Street is hereby designated
as a Wichita Falls Landmark."
