ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTIONS 4-15 AND 4-24 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ALLOW SALE, POSSESSION
AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER AT OUR LADY QUEEN OF
PEACE PARISH HALL FOR EL CLUB CAPRI 'S TENTH
ANNUAL MEXICAN DINNER ON SATURDAY, MARCH 24,
1984 .
WHEREAS, El Club Capri is having its Tenth Annual Mexican
Dinner on Saturday, March 24 , 1984 , at our Lady Queen of Peace
Parish Hall, and the club has requested permission to sell beer
at such dinner; and,
WHEREAS, the proceeds from such dinner are used to award
scholarships to students in the community; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the circumstances involved
in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver of Sections
4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of Ordinances should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The requirements of Sections 4-15 and 4-24 of the Code of
Ordinances are hereby waived to allow sale, possession and consump-
tion of beer at such Mexican dinner on Saturday, March 24 , 1984 .
