RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR 1,325 TREES
FOR VARIOUS PARKS AND MEDIANS.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for 1,325 trees for various parks and medians, which trees were
divided into 74 different types; and,
WHEREAS, seven bidders bid on these trees, and the City
Council desires to accept the bid by type of tree.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid of the low bidder for each type of tree as shown on
the attached tabulation is hereby accepted by the City; on bid
items No. 26 and No. 70, the bids of Martin Wholesale are hereby
accepted, as a two ( 2%) percent cash discount was off red.
