RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR COMPLETION OF
THE W.I .C. ADDITION TO THE WICHITA FALLS-WICHITA
COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a
contracted, approved by the City Council, on May 5, 1987 , for the
construction of the W.I .C. addition to the Health District; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a unit price contract and the
actual cost was $184,155. 00; however, $174,947.25 has been
previously paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of
9, 207.75; and,
WHEREAS, this project was inspected and completed on
November 10, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized to pay the
contractor the amount as set out above, on or about December 10,
1987.
