Res 210-87 12/1/1987RESOLUTION NO. 210-87 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE BY THE WICHITA COUNTY-CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, HOSPITAL BOARD OF THE SOUTHERNMOST ONE ACRE OF THE VISITOR'S PARKING LOT OF WICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR A MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING CENTER. WHEREAS, the Wichita General Service Corporation has entered into a joint venture agreement with Bethania Regional Health Center to construct a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center; and, WHEREAS, a determination has been made that a portion of the parking lot property on Ninth Street owned by the Wichita County- City of Wichita Falls, Texas, Hospital Board and leased to Wichita General Service Corporation is the most desirable site for the venture; and, WHEREAS, Article 4494.i-1, Section 5 requires approval by the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County of any encumbrance, sale or lease of property owned by said Board; and, WHEREAS, the sum of $272,250 has been determined to be within appraisals as an appropriate price for said property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Wichita General Hospital is approved to sell the property described as follows: Exactly one ( 1) acre, 43 ,560 square feet, located southernmost in Lot 3 replat of Block 257, Original Town of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, otherwise generally referred to as the southernmost acre of the visitor' s parking lot of Wichita General Hospital. Approval of the sale of the property is limited to conveyances to the United Diagnostic Center of W' hita Falls, a joint venture of Wichita General Service Corpor- ion a d Bethania Regional Health Center, and the t-• lling price s = 11 b- $272,250.
