RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENTS
TO POLICE HEADQUARTERS AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with
Wallace and Raub Construction Company on February 28, 1986, for reno-
vation of the first floor of Police Headquarters and other building
improvements, and
WHEREAS, substantial completion of this project was accomplished
November 14, 1986, in accordance with the plans and specifications and
accepted by the Chief of Police, and
WHEREAS, $443,265.00 of the contract price has been paid to the
Contractor, and $4,477.00 retained until final acceptance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT SAID:
Construction is hereby accepted by the City and the City Manager
is authorized to make final payment in the amount of $4,477.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 1ST DAY OF DECEMBER 987.
