RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 86 RENOVATION PROJECT FOR THE
CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND AUTHORIZE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE A FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Haggerty
Plumbing Company for major renovation work at the Cypress Street Water
Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the original contract was for $600,852 . 00 and the City
Manager subsequently approved change orders in the amount of
4, 158. 59, bringing the total corrected contract price to $605, 010.59;
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor $600,473 .59,
leaving an amount due of $4, 537. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been inspected and found to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project for renovation of the Cypress Water Treatment Plant
by Haggerty Plumbing Company is hereby accepted and the City Manager
is authorized to make a final payment of $4,537. 00 to tie contractor.
