AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH EMD, INC. RELATING TO AN
ENERGY AUDIT OF THE MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM
BUILDING TO INCLUDE A STUDY OF REPLACING
THE CURRENT HVAC SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the current HVAC System in Memorial Auditorium is both
old and energy inefficient; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to identify a replacement system as
well as other measures which may be taken to reduce energy consumption
in Memorial Auditorium;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
EMD, Inc. relating to an energy audit of the Memorial Auditorium
Building to include a study of replacing the current HVAC system. The
cost of this study shall not exceed $8,700
